Camping
We have two fields for our guests staying in tents, which are gradually sloping meadows. Both have the benefit of our free wi-fi service which covers the whole campsite, and you are welcome to use our secure facility for charging your mobile devices, which is also free to use of course. There are conveniently situated water points in both fields.
Some pitches are available with electric hook-up, some without. If you book a pitch with electric you will need a mains supply unit with sockets to link up with our hook up device. If you're new to this, take a look at our FAQ section or speak to your local supplier of camping equipment. If you book a pitch without electric remember we have fridges and freezers that you can use without charge.
Our fields are unmarked and pitches are taken by our guests on a first-come first-served basis. Both fields have easy access to the path down to the beach. The walk through Crawley Woods and over the dunes will get you to the beach in about 10 minutes. It is only accessible on foot and so you will always find plenty of quiet space on this 2 mile stretch of golden sand. For those with our 4-legged friends, it is dog friendly all year round.
The Shop field is situated directly off the farm yard and immediately behind the shop and cafe, and the main family shower and toilet block which is open 24/7 - particularly convenient for those with small children. Within this building you will also find the wash-up area, and our free-to-use fridges and freezers. If you have friends staying in a caravan then this field is for you as it is immediately next to it and accessible by a pathway between the two.
From parts of this field you can enjoy views south over the Bristol Channel to Devon on the other side whilst behind is Cefn Bryn, the hill that runs right along the spine of the Gower Peninsula.
The Wood Path field is detached from the main farm yard but closer to the woods and beach path. It is still only a short walk of a couple of minutes from the main farmyard facilities no matter where on the field you've pitched your tent.
From the elevated portion of this field you have views over Crawley Woods to the Bristol Channel while the lower part has the benefit of a more sheltered aspect. Again, Cefn Bryn is behind you.
